Overcoming Writer's Block: Five-Minute Writing Challenge & Self-Care Journaling

Do you ever get writer's block when you need to sit down and write something? Try setting a timer and set it for five minutes, and then literally sit down and right the first thing that comes to your mind, you'll be surprised that you might actually get into it and keep writing and you don't know what might come out and you might get to the end of five minutes and be like, Oh, that's something pretty cool. You might get done in five minutes. And just have words that say, I'm waiting for five minutes and I just can't write but if you're writing, you're at least getting out of your head a little bit and into your hands and into the paper. There's a really handy journaling book. It's called self care. A day and night reflection journal. It's Insight Editions as a publisher.

There are writing prompts for morning and night reflection exercises really, really helpful. And it can take when you're in a pretty good space and help you make it even better because that's what thriving is all about.
