Unlocking Curiosity: Transforming Relationships and Growth

Did you know that if you adopt a mindset of curiosity, it can improve your relationships. It can improve your work performance, it can improve your family life and your friendships. So what do I mean by that? Exactly? Well, you can practice a mindset of curiosity by starting with challenging your own beliefs and assumptions. I believe that I don't know. I believe that it's okay for my kids to watch YouTube. I'm going to challenge that belief and get curious about alternative solutions or alternative views. That process is is the act of being curious. If somebody says something and you're like, you really find yourself disagreeing with them. Or in your mind, you're just like, nope, nope, nope, that's not right. Stop for a second and check yourself in instead of sitting in a place of judgment. Get curious about how they came to that view. And ask them how they got there. And curious and allow yourself to do that. You can also get curious about learning new skill. Maybe you've always wanted to know how to cook couple years ago, and my alcohol midlife later life took up saying, I thought, something I always wanted to try to learn how to do and I was curious if I could hold a tune could hear no could make a sound that sounds pleasing to my ear. When I let it out. I started to learn singing quite late in life and man is not going to sing for you. Don't worry, but maybe someday, who knows? And curious what is it that you want to do? Who is it that you disagree with? Challenge yourself. Ask some more questions before you rush to a conclusion.
