Discover the Power of Meditation: Insights from Jay Shetty's 'Think Like a Monk

Have you seen that guy Jay Shetty on YouTube? Or Instagram wherever you follow? Those kinds of folks. It's got those amazing eyes, they're so great.

He talks a lot about with the just amazing things that he learned while he was a monk. He has a book called Think like a monk. And it gives you some really simple ways to just start like a practice of meditation, which is really great way to reinforce positivity and positive feelings and nurture positive feelings in your life and gives you five simple steps. Find a comfortable position, maybe are sitting in a chair, maybe you're lying down and say Okay, close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Get more comfortable. How could you be slightly more comfortable? Get there. And then bring your awareness to your your body, your mind your emotions, and find stillness inside there and find some peace. And then the hardest thing is when your mind starts wandering off, up here and over there and around and around, bring it back to calm stillness and peace can do that through your breath through a mantra, like repeating a phrase or a word.
