Box Breathing: A Simple Technique for Instant Calm

Here's a great technique. It's called Box breathing. When you get anything happening, like if you're just any moment, anytime of the day, you need to really collect yourself. Maybe you had a tough call at work, maybe you had a fight with your spouse, whatever it is that's going on. All you have to do is to stop for a second and go. count five. Hold it for three seconds. And let it out while you count to five. I've got a link here for a really helpful book on breathing. breath work. It's a three week breathing program. If you want to work on this a little bit more. It's by an author called Valerie Moselle . And she'll tell you all of the great things that you can do to do box breathing and other similar breathing exercises to help calm yourself down
