Arthur Brooks' Happiness Tips & Mindful Moments with Grape Candy Flowers

Y'all last night, I got to see Arthur Brooks talk at an event hosted by UT Austin. He's the author of the book with Oprah Winfrey called Build the life you want. And I really loved hearing about his research into the area of happiness. He reviewed a some really cool mindfulness techniques that I like to cover one of them is just pausing when you're angry and counting to 30. Another one I think I'm going to go do right now which is take a walk.

Check these out.

There's a little, a little moth on this one right here and they just smell so good. they smell like grape candy.

And that sense of pausing to take a smell of grape candy flowers that are only blooming for two weeks of the year.

That just kind of lifted my spirits a little bit, a little mindfulness.
